Julie Stonefelt is a cancer survivor, park ranger, and co-founder of Wild Homestead Living. She is a periodic guest teacher at Alderleaf. She is on a mission to make sustainability simple whether you live in the city, country, or somewhere in between. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The Evergreen State College with a dual focus on wildlife rehabilitation and Native American Studies. She is an experienced educator with almost three decades working for organizations that include Wilderness Awareness School, PAWS, and Seattle Public Utilities. When not teaching, you can find Julie on her own homestead in the Snoqualmie Valley.
